I love the web.

The earlier years as a webmaster – I saw the power of the web. I said to myself: Wow. It’s like a newspaper without the paper; a business card without the card; a cell phone without the phone; like the television without the box, a magazine without, well the paper – you get my point. To me it’s the most powerful medium of publishing to date. And it’s open to anyone.

I started out playing with HTML working as a graphics designer with Danni’s Hard Drive in Culver City California. Of course, because of its mature content – I cannot really delve into the details of my previous work – no matter how AMAZING they were. Regardless, web pages have become to me – a medium for expressing art.

Through the years, I picked up different jobs and different titles – but have kept the same basic responsibility: I always had to make it look good. May it be web pages, logos, ad banners, newsletters, user interfaces, reports, DVD covers, posters, magazine layouts, you name it – I needed to make it attractive. And I did. Natural to it I guess.

Along with the jobs came different types of software, content management systems, web technologies and platforms. I’ve worked with Dotnetnuke, Mambo, Joomla, Community Server, Sharepoint and Wordpress (I looove Wordpress). I’ve also kept on top of the latest web trends, best practices, search engine optimization techniques, software development kits and so forth.

Presently I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and working full-time as a Systems Administrator in Monrovia California. I do my design work part-time – which is the reason I’m addicted to coffee.

I believe in clean code, sharp and simple designs. I love good typography and color schemes. I am a big fan of the Web 2.0 stage where things are much in tune to the end user. I look forward to the upcoming release of technologies such as CSS 3.0 – where creativity in web pages will take an even further leap.

I am very easy to talk business with and as I’ve mentioned - have a good eye for what looks good. I have excellent grasp on what works, what sells, what people want and get. I have enough technical knowledge and experience to guarantee your project to be a success.

It is hosted by Bluehost, and is designed from the ground up by myself using Photoshop, Dreamweaver and XAMPP lite. Code is XHTML strict, CSS and PHP. It is tested in IE 7 and Firefox.
