I've purchased a few themes from Themeforest, and the one thing I can say about the themes I bought is that they are versatile; they include various page templates and their theme options are loaded. The Clam (for example) doesn't appear to offer other page templates or any other styling options, so maybe that's why it was rejected. I did try out your Aparatus theme when it was free, but it didn't offer page templates or much else, so I didn't use it. It doesn't seem to have changed much in that it still doesn't offer choices in the way of layouts, so I definitely won't be buying it. You should juice up your themes and add more design/layout options if you want to charge for them.
